vSphere 6.5 Anounced with many good and overdue features
Last week I saw the new vSphere 6.5 at VMworld 2016 (EU). I’m very happy with the upcoming features. Some of them are extremely cool and some are overdue.
A short wrap up:
- vSphere Update Manager included in VCSA
- Automatic Migration to VCSA from Windows vCenter
- vCenter High Availability (Active,Passive,Witness) 5min RTO
- HTML 5 Client
- no more vSphere Fat-Client
- GUI for vSphere Autodeploy
- VM Encryption
- Encrypted VMotion
